What is the FANF fee and why was it charged directly to my bank account?

In January some of our merchant accounts were not billed for the FANF (Fixed Acquirer Network Fee). We regret the error and the fee will appear on your account as a one-time debit from Sage Payment Solutions.  Typically this fee is on your statement and not billed to your account directly.  We have notified impacted customers via email and have included some common questions we are receiving from customers below.  We apologize for any inconvenience.
