Error: Credit card storage and processing module, Sage Exchange, needs to be running in order to continue
Sage Exchange Desktop
This error typically indicates that Sage Exchange Desktop (SED) has been closed or otherwise disabled. SED is an application that runs in the background while you work, enabling communication between Sage 50 and your payment gateway.
To resolve this, open your Start Menu and find Sage Exchange. By default, it is in All Programs > Sage Payment Solutions; you can also use the Search box:
Open the program. You should see it in your system icon tray:
Once you see this, please retry whatever gave you the initial error.
